Due to the nature of our products as premium research chemicals, we have specific return and refund policies designed to ensure safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

Unopened Products

Original seal intact, packaging unopened

Within 7 Days

Return request within 7 days of delivery

Undamaged Packaging

Original packaging in good condition

Opened Products

Products that have been opened or used

Important Note:

Due to safety and quality control considerations, we cannot accept returns on products that have been opened, used for research, or removed from their original packaging. This policy ensures the integrity and safety of our products for all customers.

Return Conditions & Requirements

All returns must meet specific conditions to be accepted:

Time Limit

Return requests must be initiated within 7 calendar days of the delivery date. Requests received after this period will not be accepted.

Product Condition

Products must be in their original, unopened packaging with all seals intact. The packaging must show no signs of tampering or damage.

Documentation

Include the original packing slip or order confirmation email with the returned items. Without proper documentation, we cannot process the return.

Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Opened products or products removed from original packaging
  • Products that have been used for research purposes
  • Custom or special order items
  • Products damaged due to customer mishandling
  • Items purchased during clearance or final sale promotions

Return Process

Follow these steps to initiate a return:

Step 1: Contact Us

Email us at sales@dutchcitysale.net within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and reason for return.

Step 2: Receive Authorization

We will review your request and, if eligible, provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and return instructions.

Step 3: Package Items

Securely package the unopened items in their original packaging. Include the packing slip and write the RAN on the outside of the package.

Step 4: Ship Return

Ship the package to the address provided in your return instructions. Use a trackable shipping method and retain your tracking number.

Step 5: Confirmation

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Return Address:

Return addresses are provided on a case-by-case basis with your Return Authorization. Do not ship returns to our business address without prior authorization.

Refund Policy

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Delayed Refunds

Refunds may take additional time to appear in your account depending on your payment provider's processing times. Credit card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, while other payment methods may take longer.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges due to the nature of our products. If you need a different item:

  1. Follow the standard return process to return the unopened item
  2. Once your refund is processed, place a new order for the desired item

Exchange Considerations:

This policy ensures proper quality control and prevents cross-contamination between products. By requiring a return and new purchase, we maintain the highest standards of product integrity and safety.

Note: If you received a damaged or incorrect item due to our error, please contact us immediately at sales@dutchcitysale.net and we will arrange for a replacement at no additional cost to you.

If items arrive damaged due to shipping, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos
